UPDATE 18 August 2021: As of 11.59pm on Tuesday 17 August 2021, all of Aotearoa New Zealand is at COVID-19 Alert Level 4.

Courts remain an essential service throughout all COVID-19 alert levels but will operate differently. All matters that are not 'priority proceedings' will be adjourned (put on hold) for 48 hours across all courts, including jury trials.

Please do not come to the courthouse if you are feeling unwell. Contact 0800 COURTS (0800 268 787) if you cannot enter the courthouse or are not sure whether to attend.
