Notice of payment into Victims’ Claims Trust Account

This is the current list of offenders that have been awarded compensation - surnames P-T:

Corey Robert Ross

A compensation payment has been made to Corey Robert Ross in respect of a specified claim under the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005 (the Act).

The Act requires that after the Secretary of Justice makes certain deductions from the compensation payment, the surplus remaining goes into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account to enable victims of Corey Robert Ross to make claims against it.

Any money left after any victims’ claims have been paid will be paid to Corey Robert Ross.

On 7 May 2021, $1,000.00 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of Corey Robert Ross.

The money paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account is held in trust for Corey Robert Ross until it has been paid out in accordance with subpart 2 of Part 2 of the Act.

Any person who has been a victim of Corey Robert Ross, in respect of an offence for which Corey Robert Ross was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the Trust Account on behalf of Corey Robert Ross.

Claims by victims are not limited to the amount available in the Trust Account.

Manu Aperahama Royal

A compensation payment has been made to Manu Aperahama Royal in respect of a specified claim under the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005 (the Act).

The Act requires that after the Secretary of Justice makes certain deductions from the compensation payment, the surplus remaining goes into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account to enable victims of Manu Aperahama Royal to make claims against it.

Any money left after any victims’ claims have been paid will be paid to Manu Aperahama Royal.

On 17 February 2021, $3,000.00 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of Manu Aperahama Royal.

The money paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account is held in trust for Manu Aperahama Royal until it has been paid out in accordance with subpart 2 of Part 2 of the Act.

Any person who has been a victim of Manu Aperahama Royal, in respect of an offence for which Manu Aperahama Royal was convicted in a Court of New Zealand, is entitled to make a claim against the money held in the Trust Account on behalf of Manu Aperahama Royal.

A compensation payment has been made to Ricky Shane Stampa in respect of a specified claim under the Prisoners’ and Victims’ Claims Act 2005 (the Act).

The Act requires that after the Secretary of Justice makes certain deductions from the compensation payment, the surplus remaining goes into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account to enable victims of Ricky Shane Stampa to make claims against it.

Any money left after any victims’ claims have been paid will be paid to Ricky Shane Stampa.

On 17 February 2021, $16,756.63 was paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account on behalf of Ricky Shane Stampa.

The money paid into the Victims’ Claims Trust Account is held in trust for Ricky Shane Stampa until it has been paid out in accordance with subpart 2 of Part 2 of the Act.
